Cape Town, the gateway to South Africa

The Westin Cape Town is ideally located. It has superb connections to the airport and can therefore easily be reached after your flight. Our hotel is also a very good base for tours into Cape Town and the surrounding areas. There are no limits set on your journey of discovery in South Africa. Discover the local area map above for some inspirations for your trip.

An endless number of possibilities await you. Experience the incomparable beauty of an ocean sunset on the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Experience the bewitching flower scents of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Let yourself be enchanted by the size and beauty of Table Mountain and take the cable car to the top. Take the time for a relaxing drive through the famous wine regions around Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. All of these things can be easily reached from our hotel. You will be inspired by South Africa.

Our hotel is the perfect accommodation for a business stay in Cape Town and a pleasure relaxing holiday. Most other hotels cannot offer this perfect combination. The Westin Cape Town is located within short walking distance to the most popular cultural locations in Cape Town. Take a relaxing stroll through our beautiful historic Old Town, discover Long Street, known for its lively nightlife, the bell tower, Cape Quarter and of course the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

The old docks have been excellently converted into the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a very large complex of hotels, restaurants and bars, shops (galore) and two craft markets and a truly wonderful aquarium. Here you will also find numerous companies offering boat trips, including the Robben Island Ferry, and fun things such as jet skis and helicopter trips. The information desks are helpful and there is VAT refund too. It is a very easy and secure place with lots to do; but just a word on prices, you can find most things cheaper elsewhere, especially jewelery. The Westin Cape Town offers a free shuttle to the V&A Waterfront.

Let yourself be seduced by the fascinating selection of boutiques and shops. Open yourself to our city's inspiring museums, galleries and memorials. You will find pure relaxation and pleasure in the many cafés, bars and fine restaurants. The Cape Town International Convention Center (CTICC) is well located adjacent to The Westin Cape Town allowing you to plan large conferences or events in the city.

We have prepared for you a list of day trips and tours around Cape Town to make your trip planning easier.
